1. Nature of the Service
Plymouth Township Residents Directory is a private reference service. It identifies and links to public rolls, record indexes, and directory collections concerning Plymouth Township, Michigan. It does not host government records and has no connection to a government office, court, or records custodian.
2. Permitted Use
Use the service only for lawful purposes. You must not use it, or material reached through it, to:
- Stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or harm any person
- Find someone protected by a restraining or protective order
- Commit identity theft or fraud
- Make FCRA-regulated decisions, including credit, employment, insurance, or housing decisions
- Scrape, duplicate, or republish the service's content at scale
- Disrupt the service's operation or security
3. Not a Consumer Reporting Agency
This service is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. ยง 1681 et seq. Government portals and third-party services, including sponsored search tools, operate under their own terms and policies. We do not control their content, availability, prices, or data practices.
5. No Warranties
The service is offered "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that information is accurate, complete, or current, or that a linked portal will remain available or return correct results.
6. Limits of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of this service or a linked resource, including decisions based on records reached through it.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold the service operators harmless from claims or demands, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from misuse of the service or a breach of these terms.
8. Intellectual Property
The original text, design, logo, and layout are protected by copyright. You may link to a page and quote a brief attributed excerpt, but you may not republish whole pages or systematically copy the content.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these terms by posting an updated version here. Continued use after a revision constitutes acceptance.
10. Restricting Access
We may block or limit access, without notice and at our discretion, for a user who violates these terms or abuses the service.
11. Michigan Law
Michigan law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. When a linked public-record request is relevant, Michigan Freedom of Information Act, 1976 PA 442, MCL 15.231 et seq., governs access to nonexempt records held by public bodies. It does not require a custodian to release confidential records, and it does not govern the judiciary.
12. Severability
If a provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
